Arizona Construction Career Days Welcomes the Mining Industry

Thank you for once again a FANTASTIC day for my students. You should have seen the grins on their faces as they drove a bulldozer and the back hoe and completed some of the other tasks that were available to them. Thanks again for making this possible!

Thank you! It was an invaluable and wonderful experience for our students. It really changed their lives!

On balf of our Dysart Unified students and our counselors, I want to personally thank you for this opportunity you provided to our high school students to learn about career pathways within the construction trades. By all accounts, our students and counselors came away from your annual event with a great deal of information about this wonderful career pathway.

This is especially important to me as the CTE Director for Dysart Unified in that we do not offer any Construction Trades programs at this point in time. (although we want to in the future). So, by giving over 50 of our Dysart high school students the chance to attend this great event, these students were able to learn a great deal about this revived career pathway. And, this Director is hopeful that some of these participating students will pursue this career pathway for future employment.

So, kudos to your staff for “pulling this off” for another school year! You are making a huge impact on the future lives of so many high school students and I am hopeful that next school year you will allow Dysart Unified to participate again!

Director, Career and Technical Education, Dysart Unified

Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our time at AZCCD last week! I was only able to bring two students, but what an awesome time we had. They thoroughly enjoyed their experience, and I gathered much needed and valuable information on construction careers.

Please keep me on your list for an invitation for next year. Thank you, again for all your hard work involved with putting on such an outstanding event for our young people!:)

Thank you so much. Our students attended yesterday and had an absolutely great time. EVERYONE was very helpful and had a lot of information the students could use.

The students of Buckeye Union High School so enjoyed the fieldtrip on October 22, 2010. Great job and we look forward to participating next year. We appreciate the collaborative effort of all professionals involved.

I just wanted to thank you so much for all you did today. I know we don’t have the easiest group, but you really were patient and worked so well with them.

We all really appreciated the water too- so nice!

Thank you for taking the time to give us a tour and fill their heads with positive ideas and information.
